That’s why we created The Pineapple Lounge – a standalone business within The Firefish Group that specialises in working with the under-fives, tweens, teens, and mums and babies. Not to mention the family members that are often forgotten, like dads and grandparents. 

At the Pineapple Lounge we know what gets mums’ attention, how to stop kids getting bored and how to collaborate with teens. We design, adapt and use a range of techniques to solve client briefs in the most effective and creative ways. And to ensure we remain at the cutting-edge of hot topics in the world, we work with schools and online parenting networks, a panel of mummy bloggers, and a tween and teen ‘miniMD’ panel that delivers trend information weekly.

TPL run a quantitative tracker for a kids product on behalf of a popular restaurant chain. Measuring every promotion and communication, they're helping to unlock the key to communication success and understand the messages and ideas that really capture the hearts of kids and parents.

Digital

Working with a major mobile handset brand, TPL visited 3 markets to film and observe people’s use of 'screens' in the family home. An exciting digital ethnography approach to the project revealed new insights into how the smartphone can work harder to make family life easier and more enjoyable

Gaming

TPL work regularly with one of the leading console brands. They test games globally, work on the strategic positioning of the master and sub-brands and are hands on with the development of a kids and family strategy. In one study, they visited 4 markets to deep dive into the meaning of family play and understand the role of gaming within this.

Music

The Pineapple Lounge were lucky to work on one of the top boy band brands in the world. They helped their record label unlock the brand architecture and plan a future strategy, including new album, merchandising and digital communications. Sadly they have yet to meet the boys themselves...
