It is with great pride that we announce that we are shortlisted for 3 MRS Awards in 2017 – testament to the great work we do as Human Strategy Partners to our clients, transforming their business and brands.
You may have already read our piece about the work we did with Twitter on defining their commercial narrative for 2017. If not, go here and give it a read. We used qual, quant and neuroscience to get to the heart of how people discover online and how people are 3 times more likely to engage with content on Twitter than other social media platforms. As such, we couldn’t be happier that the work has been shortlisted in the New Consumer Insights category, along with our quantitative unit, The Numbers Lab – an award we won in 2015 for our work with BBC Radio 1Xtra and our kids and family agency, The Pineapple Lounge.
Secondly, as winner’s of last year’s Best International award for our work with PayPal on their global brand purpose and positioning, we couldn’t be happier to be shortlisted for it again this year, led by BBC World Service and our New York office on a global exploration on podcast behaviour – the first time anyone has delved so deep in to the topic. Using unconventional thinking and approaches, we were able to unearth real life insights that delivered some short-term wins and a longer term strategic plan for winning in this space.
Finally, our work with Channel 4 on understanding the changing digital landscape has been shortlisted in the Media Research category. The impact of this project has helped inform the broadcaster’s new social media and digital strategy that has seen them thrive as a digital brand in 2017, so are thrilled the work has been shortlisted.
Last year, having picked up a total of 5 awards (2 MRS Awards, 1 Masters of Marketing, 1 ESOMAR Research Effectiveness Gold Trophy & 1 MRMW Award), we are quietly confident that we can take home some more gold this year. The ceremony takes place on 4th December at Supernova in London and we look forward to updating you then.
In other news, The Pineapple Lounge’s own Tammy Perl has been shortlisted for Young Researcher of the Year for her incredible commitment to the industry, her development of new methods and her all-round can-do attitude, so a big congrats to her and the team for that.
